  1. Hello Mr. Chavez! My name is Chelsea Smith and I work at Spreckels Performing Arts Center in Rohnert Park. I have just visited your website for the first time and I found it really helpful to have a listing of bay area theaters and their shows all in one place. I was actually looking for a show to recommend for a friend to go see in March with his mom. 🙂 I also noticed that you have us listed! That’s fantastic. 🙂 I noticed that you didn’t have an updated show listing from us- our next show is Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel, and we are doing it as a staged concert. That runs from Feb 13-March 1. Feel free to include that if you would like 🙂 Thanks again for having us listed on your site! Have a good day!

    • Hello Chelsea,
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and say hello. I went ahead and added the show, I appreciate the heads up. I usually just check weekly on the links, and if a new show isn’t added after a closing, I leave it blank. Shows are listed for both the current and the following month.
Take care and thanks again for reading! David

    • Hi Matthew, thanks for reading! Just send me an email to dchavez04@att.net and let me know. I list any equity, non-equity, and some college theatres on the calendar, which is basically a collection of press releases that I receive. Listings are for the current and following month. Once you’re on there once, it’s easy for me to maintain. Hope that helps, take care!

  2. Hi David,
I’m late to the party, but let me add my thanks for your ever-so-helpful website. As an ex-New Yorker, and avid theater goer, this really will make my life easier. Please add me to your email list for updates. Also, you might want to mention GOLDSTAR as a great source for discounted tickets.

  3. Aha! Just what I’ve been looking for, one place to go to see what’s playing where in any of the cities a half-hour or so drive from home base..

Thanks a bunch, keep up the good work, Dave.

  4. Hi David. Your website is incredibly helpful for a busy mom who is trying to help her 15-year old son indulge his interest in theatre. I was wondering if you might be aware of any summer workshops or camps available in the Bay Area for teenagers. My son is specifically interested in developing all of the skills necessary for musicals. I have been searching on the web for something appropriate and have come up with very little. Thank you for your time and expertise.
